Excursions and tours play an essential part in the holistic development of a child. Strongly believing in this principle, the Management of St. Jude’s Public School & Junior College organized two tours this academic year. The first tour was across the seas to Singapore and Malaysia. This group had a fabulous time for a week and returned on the 13th of October. A ten day trip to New Delhi, Agra and Kullu Manali had a record breaking 535 students opting for it. St. Jude’s Public School & Junior College was in a festive mood as they welcomed the triumphant duo - Collin Paul Joy and Harshitha Mehta – who were the winners in the TCS IT WIZ Interschool Quiz Competition held at Coimbatore on Friday, the 14th of November, 2008. Over 450 teams comprising over 900 students from 70 schools from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi, Kangeyam, Sathyamangalam, Erode, Udumalpet, Mettupalayam, Ooty, Kotagiri and Coonoor were in the fray.
